Jamshedpur, Jan 29: Continuous efforts are being made to enhance passenger amenities at Adityapur station and accordingly a new bio-toilet was inaugurated at the Adityapur railway station jointly by the Chief Yard Master of Adityapur, Pradeep Kumar, and Senior Section Engineer Sanjay Gupta.
It may be mentioned that Chakradharpur Rail Division has undertaken the construction of bio-toilets at Adityapur and several other small stations under the cleanliness and environmental protection initiative. The operation and maintenance responsibility has been entrusted to a private agency.
According to information received from the railways, a bio-toilet will soon be installed near the Burmamines Gate at Tatanagar rail station. The operation and maintenance of this facility will also be managed by the agency. During the inauguration, Anjani Rai, Chief Commercial Inspector of Tatanagar, Catering Inspector Rakesh Kumar, and several railway workers and RPF officials were present.
