Chaibasa: The super specialty OPD facility being run by Brahmanand Narayana Multispecialty Hospital (BNMH) in Chaibasa was disrupted since the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation prevailing during that span. As a result, people of nearby areas had to face lots of problems being deprived of OPD and other facilities. However, the present conducive situation will shortly see the reinstatement of BNMH OPD facilities. Superspecialty OPD services will commence on Saturday, 23rd April in Chaibasa at Sanjeev Netralay and Dental Care Centre, PC Birua Road, Tungri. Specialist doctors in the fields of Cardiology, Orthopedics, Pulmonology and Diabetes will provide Multispecialty OPD services and other investigation facilities in Chaibasa.
Patients with heart, lung, Joint and diabetic ailments residing in surrounding areas of Chakradharpur, Jagannathpur, Jhinkpani, Haat Gamharia, Noamundi, Barbil and other such places will be able to take OPD facility at Chaibasa. Normally OPD services of BNMH will be available on Fridays and Saturdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.
Facility Director of Brahmanand Narayana Multispecialty Hospital, Jamshedpur, Tapani Ghosh said, “In Chaibasa, OPD services will be provided every month for advanced treatment of patients with heart, lungs, diabetes and orthopedic disorders would be provided medical care.”
According to doctors, patients need to get follow-up after treatment but such facilities may not be possible for them to come down to Jamshedpur. They said that with reinstatement of BNMH OPD facilities the patients would be provided medical care. For booking medical checkup registration for OPD services, patients may call up 82928 42155.
