Tata Cummins voluntary blood donation camp collects 230 units

Jamshedpur: Tata Cummins Pvt. Ltd. (TCPL) the largest manufactures of high-performance, reliable and durable engines in India, organized a voluntary blood donation camp in association with Jamshedpur Blood Bank during which 230 units were collected. The camp was inaugurated by Jharkhand MLA Anup Singh. The blood collected at the camp would be used to help people injured in accidents, undergoing treatment for cancer or battling other blood diseases.

TCPL Plant Manager, Ramphal Nehra, said on the occasion,  “Over the last 29 years Tata Cummins Private Limited has always cared for communities in and around Jamshedpur and Jharkhand region. Our commitment towards corporate responsibility and caring for our communities in which we operate has only increased over the years. I laud officers and employees of our organization for their active participation in this blood donation camp. We believe that donating blood is a selfless act, and a noble gesture that fills the donor with happiness to be able to help another human being. At TCPL, we are simply living our value of caring by organizing this camp. We would like to thank Shri Anup Singh, MLA for lending us his support and coming for the inauguration. His support and partnership helped us in making the camp a big success. In the same vein, I would, on behalf of our company, like to thank Jamshedpur Blood Bank for partneing us in this humanitarian cause.”
