SCCI & District Administration Host Civic Camp in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the District Administration of East Singhbhum, organized an SIR mapping, Voter ID, and Aadhaar Card camp at Chamber Bhawan, Bistupur. Businessmen, entrepreneurs, and general citizens participated enthusiastically in this camp.

During the camp, a total of 98 people utilized the SIR mapping services, 105 completed tasks related to Voter IDs, and 96 availed themselves of Aadhaar Card services. Attendees processed tasks such as mapping the electoral roll with SIR-2003, correcting errors in old Voter ID cards, applying for new Voter ID cards, updating Aadhaar details, and generating new Aadhaar cards.

On this occasion, Chamber President Manav Kedia expressed his gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Rajiv Ranjan, and the district administration. He stated that the permission to organize this camp was granted upon the Chamber’s request, keeping in view the upcoming SIR process in Jharkhand. During the camp the government officials resolved the issues of nearly 300 individuals.

Kedia extended his gratitude to the camp coordinators, Chamber members Bhavya Mehta and Mahesh Sanghi, who successfully coordinated between the Chamber and the district administration.

“Keeping in mind the convenience of businessmen, entrepreneurs, and general citizens, similar camps will be organized in the future as well so that a maximum number of people can benefit,” said Abhishek Agrawal Goldie (Chamber Vice President) & Suresh Sharma Lipu (Secretary).
