Jamshedpur, October 17: The ID Badminton Tournament concluded recently at the Mohan Ahuja Stadium, JRD Tata Sports Complex, featuring 198 participants across four categories: Men’s Team, Women’s Team, Men’s Singles, and Women’s Singles. The tournament drew 136 players in team events and 62 in singles, showcasing remarkable talent and competitive spirit.
In the Women’s Team Event, NINL emerged as the winners, followed by West Bokaro as runner-up and Shared Services in third place. The Men’s Team Event was won by TSJ Operations, with General Office as runner-up and TSM in third place.

In the singles competitions, Ananya Tigga (NINL) clinched the Women’s Singles title, defeating Deepa (West Bokaro), while D. Likhita secured third place. In Men’s Singles, Sayan Hazra (Shared Services) won first place, Alok Manna (TSJ Operations) was runner-up, and Prince (West Bokaro) took third place.
The event was graced by Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief Sports, who congratulated the winners and participants for their excellent performance and sportsmanship.
The tournament was celebrated as a resounding success, highlighting the dedication, passion, and competitive spirit of the players while promoting badminton as a sport in the community.
