Jamshedpur, May 8: The Pre-Primary section of Kerala Public School Kadma celebrated “Toy Day” with great enthusiasm and excitement on Friday. The event aimed to promote creativity, imagination, emotional growth and joyful learning among children through playful activities.
The programme began with the welcoming of guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, prayer and a welcome song. Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar were present on the occasion.

The highlight of the event was the “My Toy, My Story” segment, where LKG and UKG students confidently spoke about their favourite toys. Nursery children also participated in a colourful fashion parade carrying attractive toy props, adding charm to the celebration.
The school campus echoed with laughter and excitement as children took part in various fun-filled and creative activities. Addressing the gathering, Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar highlighted the importance of toys in nurturing creativity, emotional development and happiness in childhood.
