Jamshedpur: The social organization Aagaaz celebrated Diwali by distributing festive kits to children in Harijan Basti, Burmamines, bringing smiles and joy to young faces. The kits contained candles, rattles, shells, and toothbrushes.
Young entrepreneur and social worker Damanpreet Singh was the main speaker at the event. He, along with Aagaaz’s founding president Inderjit Singh, shared that the initiative was a small effort to ensure that every home glows with the light of Diwali and that no child feels left out of the celebrations.
The event saw active participation from teacher Sumit Mishra, Sikh Naujavan Sabha Sarjamda president Jagpreet Singh, Nikhil Chandra Mahato, colony head Suresh Mukhi, Shankar Mukhi, Shashi Devi, Shanti Devi, Reena Mukhi, and Gayatri Devi, among others.
The program concluded with children expressing happiness and gratitude, making the occasion truly meaningful for everyone present.
