Jamshedpur, Sep 28: A delegation of Congress leaders led by former national secretary of Youth Congress Jyotish Kumar Yadav met the district supply officer of East Singhbhum on Wednesday and demanded timely supply of ration to beneficiaries across the district.
In a press statement, Yadav said that as many as 70 per cent of ration card holders had not got ration for the month of July and August due to the slack attitude of department officials concerned. He said the district supply officer had been requested to provide ration to each and every ration card holder every month without delay.
