Press Club of Jamshedpur’s blood donation camp on June 14

Jamshedpur, June 10: A mega voluntary blood donation camp will be organised at Milanee Hall in Bistupur on June 14 to mark World Blood Donor Day. The initiative has been jointly undertaken by the Press Club of Jamshedpur, The Milanee and Pratik Sangharsh Foundation (PSF) to help address the shortage of blood during the ongoing summer season.

Tata Steel Foundation has extended its support to the social initiative. The camp will be held from 9 am to 5 pm.

All blood donors will be honoured with certificates of appreciation and mementos for their contribution. To encourage greater public participation, the organisers have announced special awards for those who motivate others to donate blood. Individuals bringing 5–10 donors will receive the Silver Raktveer Samman, while those bringing 11–25 donors will be awarded the Golden Raktveer Samman. The Diamond Raktveer Samman will be presented to those bringing 26–50 donors, and those motivating more than 51 donors will receive the Veeron Mein Veer – Real Hero Raktveer Samman.
