Jamshedpur, Sep 28: Dhalbhumgarh police here registered an FIR against two persons in connection with the alleged assault on a property dealer of Ranchi.
Those booked were identified as Absudh Khan of Ranchi and Dharmveer of Durgapur.
According to Avneesh Kumar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhalbhumgarh police station, “The accused persons had fired on the Ranchi-based property leader Subhojit Mukherjee. Dharmvir has a land dispute with Mukherjee. The assault was carried out with the view to remove the victim from their way.”
A team led by SDPO Kuldeep Toppo is conducting raids at various places to arrest the accused persons. A bike without registration plate was recovered near Narsinghgarh Hanuman Vatika late Monday night in this connection, said the OC.
