Jamshedpur, June 21: On the auspicious occasion of International Yoga Day, Vivek Vidyalaya in Chhota Govindpur, Jamshedpur, organized a magnificent yoga program under the esteemed guidance of Acharya Jyotiprakashanand Avdhoot, Senior Acharya of Sewa Dharma Mission and a renowned yoga expert. The event aimed to celebrate the ancient and revered traditions of yoga, asanas, and spirituality that have been an integral part of India’s cultural heritage.
The program witnessed a substantial turnout, with both teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students from the school, actively participating. Addressing the large gathering, Acharya Jyotiprakashanand Avdhoot elaborated on the significance of asanas, yoga, and animal psychology. He specifically emphasized the concept of Jiva Psychology, a contemporary approach to yoga, which fosters holistic development on the physical, mental, and spiritual levels. The Acharya adeptly delivered insights into the philosophical and practical aspects of yoga and animal psychology, garnering praise and admiration from the attendees. The Principal of Vivek Vidyalaya, speaking at the event, stressed the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life, particularly in the current circumstances, for the holistic development of children. Uma Maheshwari, the primary principal of Vivek Vidyalaya, expressed her delight at the success of the program and emphasized the need to inspire children to embrace yoga, thereby preserving the rich cultural heritage of India.
