PSZAS organizes holy event at Bistupur Sri Ram Mandir

Jamshedpur: Purvi Singhbhum Zila Agarwal Sammelan (PSZAS) organized Anna Prasadam of the internationally famed place of pilgrimage in Andhra Pradesh – Tirupati Balaji – on Sunday at the Kalyan Mandapam in the Ram Mandir complex at Bistupur. Among the host of devotees who participated in the religious proceedings and partook of the holy Anna Prasadam were Union Minister Arjun Munda and East Singhbhum SSP Prabhat Kumar who arrived on his two-wheeler.
The religious proceedings commenced with the aarti of Tirupati Balaji. The text of prayers was edited by a team of senior priests of Shri Ram Mandir. A team of cooks from Tirupati prepared the Anna Prasadam that had the taste and flavors of Andhra Pradesh culinary tradition. Tirupati Balaji’s grand court was a replica of the original that added to the attraction.

Senior Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar came alone on riding a bike with his helmet on and without any bodyguard. He, like other citizens sat in the row of devotees and received Prasadam. Venkata Kondama Acharya along with Vijay Raghavan, Pattabhi, Ramu along with eight South Indian Acharyas recited verses from the Vedas. Devotees were offered camphor garlands and given Charanamrit containing Tulsi camphor.

Renowned entrepreneur of the city, Vijay Preeti Mittal was the sponsor of the event. The chief organizer was Sunil Jawnpuria. PSZAS President Sandip Murarka and General Secretary Abhishek Agarwal Goldie came in for a lot of appreciation for organizing the religious festival in an immaculate manner. The PSZAS organizers said that the purpose of calling the team from Tirupati was to ensure that the taste of all the dishes was completely in line with the dishes prepared in Andhra Pradesh. “The purpose of this event was to introduce the people of the city to the food style and culture of other states. Such programs will continue to be organized in future too.”

More than two thousand devotees partook of the Anna Prasadam.
Meera Munda, Laxman Tudu, Om Prakash Ringasia, Ashok Chaudhary, Vijay Anand Moonka, Ramesh Agarwal, Santosh Khaitan, Inder Agarwal, Arun Bankrewal, Amit Agarwal, Udit Agarwal, Dilip Goyal, Arun Gupta, Raghunath Pandey, Anand Bihari Dubey, Gunjan Yadav and many others participated in the auspicious event.
Perumal Stone’s Charm
A Perumal stone (wish stone) is installed near the Hundi in Tirupati Balaji temple. It is believed that whatever wishes the devotees write on this stone with their fingers, are directly received by Lord Balaji in the form of a letter and is accepted. A symbolic Perumal stone was installed at the venue. PSZAS President Sandeep Murarka said that prayers were offered so that Tirupati Balaji along with Bhudevi and Sridevi would bless Jamshedpur and its people with peace, prosperity and progress.
