Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Talks on the annual bonus of Tata Steel Down Stream Products Limited (TSDPL) employees have not started yet.
On Thursday, the union has called a committee meeting at Bara plant at 11 am. After discussing the bonus in the committee meeting, a letter will be submitted to the management on behalf of TSPDL Last year, in addition to 20 percent bonus, employees received Rs 2000 flat incentive amount. The union is expecting a good bonus this year as well.
The financial year 2022-2023 has been better for Tata Steel Downstream Products Limited (TSDPL). The turnover of the company was Rs 6805 crore last year, which increased to Rs 7394 crore this year.
The company’s profit before tax payment was Rs 194 crore, which increased to Rs 294 crore this year. The profit after payment of tax which was Rs 144 crore last year, has increased to Rs 246 crore.
