Jamshedpur, Sept 7: Tinplate company got a profit of Rs 143 crore.
Like last year, this year also the employees of Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCPL) were given 20 percent bonus.
During the financial year ending March 31, 2023, the Tinplate Company produced 362 kilo tonnes with a turnover of Rs 395886.52 lakh and the company has earned a profit of Rs 143 crore.
On better performance in the financial year 2022-23, a dividend of Rs 3 per share has been given to the shareholders.
Tinplate bonus is based on Tata Steel formula. Last year, on the basis of the formula prepared on the criteria of dividend, security and productivity, in 2020-2021, a bonus amount of Rs 5 crore 37 lakh 89 thousand 826 was calculated. This amount was paid among 952 employees.
Under this, the workers got 20 percent bonus and Rs 5000 extra last year. In the financial year 2021- 22, the company had done a turnover of Rs 4,24,950.79 lakh and the company had a record profit of Rs 353 crore.
