Jamshedpur: Uranium Corporation of India Limited is going to give a pleasant surprise to the residents of Ichda village of Jadugora by launching a minor irrigation project on 3rd July. All preparations for the project have been completed.
UCIL sources said the successful implementation of the project would help the farmers irrigate their farms round the year and raise crops as per their choice.
The total estimated worth of the project is Rs 8 lakh. The project would help irrigate agricultural land situated in Ichda and the adjoining villages.
The purpose of the project is to make the farmers economically self-reliant and give a fillip to the government�s efforts to bring prosperity in the lives of farmers.
