Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan police arrested three criminals allegedly hatching some plot from Kapali. Two associates of the accused persons however managed to flee the scene.
Those arrested were identified as Ashraf alias Rinku, Mohammad Ashraf and Mohammad Reyaz Khan, all residents of Mango.
According to the SDPO of Chandil, Dhirendra Narayan Banka, �SP Karthik S had got a tip-off about several criminals having entered Kapali with some nefarious design. Soon, a police team was set up to nab them. Near Rehmat Nagar culvert, police nabbed three youths trying to evade arrest. During frisking, a pisol and two bullets were found on them. The accused persons had recently stolen ornaments from a jewelry shop in Azadnagar and were jailed for various crimes, said the SDPO.
