Jamshedpur, Feb 25: In a significant boost to urban infrastructure in Jamshedpur East, local MLA Purnima Sahu has secured major approvals for two long-pending development projects.
The state government was learnt to have today granted technical approval to Phase III of the ambitious Moharda Water Supply Scheme, paving the way for expansion and strengthening of drinking water facilities in the constituency. The project is expected to enhance water availability and improve supply efficiency for thousands of residents.
In another major development, the proposed flyover from Sakchi to Agrico has received in-principle approval.

The flyover is aimed at easing traffic congestion on one of the city’s busiest stretches, ensuring smoother connectivity and reducing travel time for commuters.
The approvals mark a crucial step forward in addressing key civic concerns of Jamshedpur East and reflect sustained follow-up at the government level.
Residents have welcomed the move, expressing hope for speedy implementation of both projects.
