Jamshedpur, August 30: Jamshedpur Co-operative College will host a theatre workshop and stage a play organized by Astitva The Mirror Theatre Group. The decision to stage the play was made during a meeting chaired by Dr. Amar Singh, Principal of Jamshedpur Co-operative College. The play will address issues related to the current education system and its existing imbalances
The meeting was attended by key figures including Dr. Sanjay Yadav, Head of the English Department; Dr. Antara Kumari, Head of the Economics Department; Dr. Swati Soren, Assistant Professor of Zoology; Dr. Ruchika Tiwari, Assistant Professor of the English Department; and Dr. Ashok Kumar Rawani from the Commerce Department. Shri Ravi Kant Mishra, Creative Head of Theatre, was also present.
The workshop aims to engage students interested in theatre and acting by providing them with daily acting training sessions over a period of 15 days, each lasting three hours. The training will be supplemented with various theatre games to enhance acting skills in an enjoyable manner. The workshop will culminate with a play performance lasting between 30 to 45 minutes, showcasing the talents developed during the workshop.
