Jamshedpur, August 30: The Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of the Durga Puja Pandal by the Old Baridih Lamba Maidan Durga Puja Committee was held today. The ritual ceremony, conducted by the priest, aimed to consecrate and purify the selected site for Goddess Durga. President Nitin Jha highlighted that this annual event, celebrated for the past 66 years, will this year feature enhanced pandal and idol designs, with special electrical decorations. Committee members including Secretary Ajay Jha, Vice President Alok Singh, and others were present to support the event and emphasize their commitment to making this year’s celebration exceptional.
