Telco Andhra Committee to Celebrate Seven-Day Ram Navami Festival with Cultural Events

Jamshedpur: The Telco Andhra Committee on Tuesday held a meeting at the Ganesh Temple premises under the chairmanship of General Secretary K. Ram Mohan Rao to discuss the upcoming Ram Navami celebrations. During the meeting, Rao announced that, like every year, a seven-day festival will be organized, featuring a variety of Telugu cultural programs. Special events for children have also been planned to engage young participants in the festivities.

The celebrations will include religious rituals such as Ganapati Homam, Kalash Sthapana, Sri Rama Archana Puja, and Sahasranama Archana. Devotees will participate in Ashtottara Puja, Karpoora Nirajanam, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, and Sri Rama Rajyabhishekam. The festival will conclude with Vedic chants and Bhog distribution among the devotees.

The committee emphasized the significance of these traditions in preserving Telugu culture and fostering community participation. The event will bring together devotees to celebrate the birth of Lord Rama with devotion and grandeur.

Present at the meeting were Rajashekhar Rao, Narayan Rao, C. S. R. Murthy, K. D. Rao, Bhaskar Rao, Yam V. Verma, Shyam Sundar Rao, Prasad Rao, Ravi Rao, D. Ramu, Sangeetha, Padma, Aruna, Sunita, Kusum, and other committee members.
