Telco Andhra committee celebrates annual fest with devotion

Jamshedpur, May 2: The annual festival of the Telco Andhra Committee was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The day began with a traditional Homam dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Conducted as per Telugu customs, the ritual involved chanting of Vedic mantras and offerings of ghee, sesame, barley, rice, and other havan samagri into the havan kund. The Homam concluded with aarti.

A special abhishekam (anointment) of Lord Ganesha was performed using milk, curd, honey, turmeric, kumkum, sugarcane juice, and coconut water. The deity was then adorned with vibrant flowers. Devotees participated in the ritual with deep devotion and joy.

The ceremony concluded with the priest offering flowers to Lord Ganesha on behalf of the devotees, followed by the distribution of prasad. Key contributors to the event’s success included K. Ram Mohan Rao, Bhaskar Rao, and several other members.
