Tatanagar–Hatia Express to remain cancelled on May 6

Ranchi, May 5: South Eastern Railway has announced changes to the timetable of Train No. 18175 Hatia–Jharsuguda MEMU, effective from May 9, 2025. The revised schedule includes departure from Hatia at 13:10 hrs, followed by stops at Balsiring (13:21/13:22), Lodhma (13:34/13:35), Karra (13:48/13:49), Gobindpur Road (14:01/14:02), Bakaspur (14:11/14:12), Pokla (14:20/14:21), Pakra (14:29/14:30), Kurkura (14:39/14:40), Mahbuang (14:46/14:47), Bano (14:55/14:56), Kanarowan (15:01/15:03), Tati (15:14/15:15), Parbatonia (15:21/15:22), Odga (15:35/15:36) and Nuagaon (16:39/16:40). The remaining route from Nuagaon to Jharsuguda will follow the previous schedule.

In a separate development, due to maintenance and infrastructure development work on the Sini–Kandra rail section under Chakradharpur Division, several trains will be cancelled on May 6, 2025. Affected services include Train No. 18602 Hatia–Tatanagar Express, Train No. 18601 Tatanagar–Hatia Express, Train No. 58023 Tatanagar–Barkakana Passenger (via Muri) and Train No. 58024 Barkakana–Tatanagar Passenger (via Muri).

Additionally, the existing Tatanagar–Barkakana–Tatanagar Passenger trains (No. 58023/58024) will be renumbered and operated as MEMU services under new train numbers 68085 and 68086. Train No. 68085 Tatanagar–Barkakana MEMU Passenger will begin operations from May 9, 2025, while Train No. 68086 Barkakana–Tatanagar MEMU Passenger will start from May 10, 2025.

The revised schedule for Train No. 68085 includes departure from Tatanagar at 15:00 hrs, with subsequent halts at Adityapur (15:07/15:08), Gamharia (15:15/15:16), Birarajpur (15:36/15:37), Kandra (15:46/15:47), Kunki (15:42/15:43), Manikui (15:49/15:50) and Chandil (16:20/16:22). The train will run as per its existing schedule from Chandil to Barkakana.
