Jamshedpur, June 9: Train services in the Howrah-Midnapur section are set to undergo adjustments due to ongoing development works. The following changes will be in effect:
Up Trains: The Howrah-Midnapur Local (Train No. 38831) scheduled for journeys on June 10 and 11, 2024, will short terminate at Kharagpur. The Howrah-Adra-Chakradharpur Express (Train No. 18011/18013) slated for journeys on June 10 and 11, 2024, will originate from Santragachi at 3:35 hours instead of Howrah at 00:05 hours. The Kharagpur-Ranchi MEMU Express (Train No. 18085) will depart Kharagpur at 05:45 hours instead of 04:30 hours on June 11 and 12, 2024.The Howrah-Midnapur Local (Train No. 38801) scheduled for journeys on June 11 and 12, 2024, will short terminate at Kharagpur.
Down Trains: The Chakradharpur-Adra-Howrah Express (Train No. 18012/18014) will depart Chakradharpur at 22:05 hours instead of 18:05 hours on June 10 and 11, 2024. The train will short terminate at Santragachi instead of Howrah. The Midnapur-Howrah Local (Train No. 38802) scheduled for journeys on June 11 and 12, 2024, will originate from Kharagpur. The Midnapur-Howrah Local (Train No. 38804) scheduled for journeys on June 11 and 12, 2024, will originate from Kharagpur. These adjustments aim to accommodate the ongoing development works while ensuring minimal disruption to passenger services.
