Tata Motors Security wins cricket tourney

Jamshedpur, March 10: Tata Motors� fire brigade organized the 4th inter-security cricket tournament from March 7 to 9 at the Telco cricket ground.

Altogether six teams including Tata Motors Security, Tata Motors Fire, SIS Security, Tata Power Security, Turret Security and Neon Security participated in the tournament.

The Final match of the tournament was played between Tata Motors Security and Turret Industrial Security on Wednesday. The match was of 15 overs a side. Winning the toss, Tata Motors Security elected to bat first and scored 192 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Bunty of Tata Motors security scored 99 runs.

Manoj of Turret industrial security took two wickets for 24 runs. Chasing 193 to win Turret Industrial Security managed to score 138/8.

Manoj of Turret scored 69 runs, while Avishek Srivastava from Tata Motors Security took 3 wickets for 25 runs. Tata Motors security won the match by 54 runs. Man of the match was awarded to Bunty, while Man of the series was presented to Manoj.

Chief Guest for the final was Tata Motors DM security NS Kadiyan, guests of honor was V. N. Singh, Rajat Singh and R. K Singh. Avinash, Mukesh, Hablu, Sanjay Prasad, Avishek Srivastava, Jayanti and others played a vital role.
