Jamshedpur, Feb 6: Health Minister Banna Gupta launched ‘Janani Ko Jiney Do’ campaign by Subhas Yuva Manch (SYM) to protect the girl child. The campaign commenced with Jharkhand Health and Disaster Management Minister, Banna Gupta and SYM president and State Supervisory Board member, Paras Nath Mishra.
Jharkhand Minister Banna Gupta was highly appreciative of this SYM mission and observed, “Subhas Yuva Manch, under the astitute leadership of Paras Nath Mishra, has been providing relief to the needy through many social services. This initiative, ‘Janani Ko Jiney Do,’ is an exemplary step for the entire society. The government is taking several stern steps against the termination of female embryo.” The Minister appealed to every section of society to join Janani Ko Jiney Do (Save Girls, Save the World) campaign initiated by SYM.
Paras Nath Mishra said, “This campaign has been initiated to ensure the birth of a female child and treat her with affection and respect for such children belong to the tribe of mothers. The girls in Jharkhand will be brought into the folds of this drive and Janani Ko Jiney Do drive will be organized in the entire state to save girl fetus.” Haya Praveen, Anjali Kumari, Amandip Kaur, Shama Praveen, Priyanka Mandal and Nilesh Kumar were present in this program.
