Jamshedpur, Feb 6: Educationist and member of the State Supervision Board, Paras Nath Mishra has urged Health Minister Banna Gupta to reopen schools in the seven Jharkhand districts including Jamshedpur at the earliest. Paras Nath Mishra went to the residence of Health Minister Banna Gupta and during talks requested that schools in the seven districts be opened at the earliest as the future of students depended on this move.
Minister Banna Gupta assured Mishra that positive steps would be taken for the future of schools and students. The Minister stated, “Positive steps will be taken after reviewing the prevailing pandemic situation. The matter will be discussed with Chief Minister Hemant Soren after which, appropriate measures will be taken.”
Paras Nath Mishra said that the closure of schools for almost two years had impacted on the academic, physical and mental development of school children. He said crisis clouds were hovering over schools, students and teachers. Health Minister Banna Gupta has shared the information of schools’ reopening in seven Jharkhand districts through his tweet and Facebook accounts.
