Jamshedpur, Jan 29: In a bid to address the ongoing challenges faced by residents of Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency regarding Aadhar card creation and corrections, a special Aadhar Seva Camp will be organized from February 3 to 7. The camp, spearheaded by MLA Purnima Sahu, aims to simplify the process of obtaining and updating Aadhar cards for the citizens of the area.
The camp will be set up near the MLA’s camp office at Agrico, where residents can both apply for new Aadhar cards and make necessary corrections to existing ones. With Aadhar now a crucial document for accessing banking services, government schemes, education, healthcare and other essential services, this initiative comes as a much-needed solution for local citizens who have faced difficulties in getting their Aadhar-related work done.
MLA Purnima Sahu, who worked closely with the officials of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to organize the camp, appealed to the public to take full advantage of this opportunity. She emphasized the convenience this special camp will offer, helping citizens avoid long queues and repeated trips to Aadhar centers. Sahu encouraged individuals to come forward with their family members to ensure that their Aadhar details are up to date, thereby preventing future challenges in completing important tasks.
The camp will run daily from February 3 to 7, providing residents with an efficient and accessible means to address their Aadhar-related concerns.
