Jamshedpur, July 1: A five-member delegation from the East Singhbhum District Softball Association met the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum at the Collectorate on Monday to extend their greetings and discuss the upcoming Eastern Regional Softball Championship 2025. The delegation congratulated the DC with a bouquet and held a detailed discussion about the preparations for the championship, which is likely to be held in September under the joint aegis of the Jharkhand Softball Association and the East Singhbhum District Softball Association.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the Deputy Commissioner of the challenges being faced in organizing the event and sought administrative support. The Deputy Commissioner listened attentively and assured full cooperation for the successful execution of the tournament.
Following this, the delegation also met District Sports Officer Avinesh Tripathi to further discuss logistical and operational support for the championship.
The delegation was led by Association President Ajay Kumar Sharma and included Joint Secretary Dayal Singh Mehra, Vice President Anjana Singh, members W. Rehman, M. Arshad, Treasurer Shyam Sharma, and Monu Kumar.
