Jamshedpur, June 21: Sheyn International School enthusiastically celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day with the theme “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.” The school premises were filled with positive energy as students and teachers came together to embrace the ancient practice of yoga. Placards with uplifting messages and captivating posters highlighting the benefits of yoga adorned the surroundings.

Under the expert guidance of the school’s yoga trainer, both teachers and students actively participated in warm-up exercises, sitting asanas, and standing postures. The serene atmosphere allowed everyone to fully immerse themselves in the practice. Pushpa Bhalla, Principal (Administrative) of Sheyn International School, shared a brief history of yoga’s origins as a cherished gift from India’s ancient tradition. Rama Srinivas, Principal (Academics), encouraged students and teachers alike to make yoga an integral part of their daily lives, emphasizing its potential to enhance physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Keya Adak, Vice-Principal, and Simran Saggu, Head Mistress, provided valuable insights into the transformative effects of yoga on lifestyle and overall wellness. The session concluded with a warm vote of thanks expressed by the school’s Physical Education team.
