Karim City College hosts Yoga session

Jamshedpur, June 21: Karim City College organized a vibrant yoga session on the occasion of International Yoga Day at Jubilee Park in Jamshedpur. The event witnessed the presence of former NSS volunteer, Pragya Singh, who expertly led the yoga session as the instructor.

The primary objective of the yoga session was to cultivate prudence, self-awareness, self-regulation, and elevate consciousness among the participants. Under the guidance of yoga instructor Pragya Singh, the session commenced with the invigorating asanas of Surya Namaskar. Participants then proceeded to perform various asanas, including Bhujangasana, Makarasana, Halasana, Vrikshasana, Tadasana, Pawanmuktasana, Naukasana, Dandasana, and Vakrasana.

Pragya Singh emphasized the significance of regular yoga practice in reducing stress levels and inflammation throughout the body, thereby promoting a healthy heart. Her expert instructions and insights enhanced the overall experience for the participants. NSS Program Officer Dr. Ale Ali and Syed Sajid Parvez enlightened the volunteers about the importance of Yogasanas and encouraged them to incorporate these practices into their daily lives. Thirty dedicated volunteers, including NSS Program Officer Dr. Ale Ali and NSS Coordinator Syed Sajid Parvez, wholeheartedly celebrated International Yoga Day by actively engaging in the yoga session.
