Seraikela DC reviews CM’s district program preparation 


Seraikela, January 18:  Seraikela Kharsawan deputy commissioner Arva Rajkamal reviewed the preparation for the scheduled district tour program of the chief minister later this month. 

Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagarai, Project Director ITDA Sandeep Kumar Doraiburu and other senior administrative officials were present for the Hemant Soren’s district tour program on January 30-31. 

During this, various programs are proposed including site inspection of various schemes, review meeting of various schemes run at the district level. 

Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with all the departmental officers and reviewed the work progress of various schemes being run at the district and block level. While reviewing point-wise, the Deputy Commissioner instructed to complete all the public welfare schemes within the stipulated time, give wide publicity to such schemes whose work progress is slow, organize special camps and provide benefits of the scheme to the eligible beneficiaries. 

Under the Chief Minister’s Drought Relief Scheme, after verification of the applications of the eligible beneficiaries under category A, B, C, they were directed to get the benefits. Under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, after identifying the missing adolescent girls of 18-19 years, after verifying the application, the district was directed to make them available. Instructions were given to provide benefits to 100 percent eligible students under the pre-matric scholarship scheme, to ensure the execution of applications received under the Chief Minister’s Employment Generation Scheme, and to provide benefits of the scheme to the beneficiaries desirous of self-employment by organizing camps. 

While reviewing the schemes operated under MNREGA, instructions were given to increase the number of man-days by operating more than five schemes per village. The Deputy Commissioner directed to ensure the execution of all pending cases as soon as possible while reviewing the pending cases related to the Revenue Court and the applications received related to the issue of caste certificate.
