Seminar on Environmental Conservation in Bholadih Village

Jamshedpur, June 7: Padma Shri Chhutni Mahato presided a seminar on Environment Day organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat in Bholadih village, Saraikela, marking the golden jubilee of the Jharkhand unit of the organization. The seminar, themed on ‘Protection and Conservation of Nature: Man’s Greatest Religion,’ was also attended by about 32 rural women.

During the event, Vice President Angel Upadhyay emphasized the importance of instilling the value of nature worship among the youth, while Dr. Anita Sharma underscored the necessity of safeguarding the environment for a secure future. Teacher Kumar Amalendu highlighted the rural culture’s role in ensuring environmental safety.

Various dignitaries, including Vice President Angel Upadhyay, Joint Secretary Dr. Anita Sharma, State Secretary Dr. Kalyani Kabir, and Member Kumar Amalendu, shared their insights. Dr. Anita Sharma conducted the seminar, introducing the topic, while Dr. Kalyani Kabir delivered the vote of thanks.

Those present included Pratima Tantubai, Priya Mahato, Chandmuni, Gurubari Mahato, Sushmita Mahato, Preeti Tantubai, Pobita, Joba, Sanjita Mahato, Purnomi, Lakshmi, among others. Vice President Angel Upadhyay presented a shawl to chairperson Chhutni Mahato, acknowledging her leadership in organizing the event.
