Jamshedpur, Feb 6: The district administration got another shot in the arm in its battle against COVID infection when the Tata motors management handed two vaccination vans in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Suraj Kumar and Vaccination Cell’s Senior Officer and SDM Dhalbhum Sandeep Kumar Meena.
Director DRDA Saurabh Sinha and District Transport Officer Dinesh Ranjan were also present on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner, Suraj Kumar, while thanking the Tata Motors management stated, “we have been receiving allround cooperation from all sections of society since the initial COVID-19 wave. Tata Motors’ presentation of two vaccination vans will add thrust to the campaign by enabling the administration to speed up our drive and provide door-to-door inoculation.”
The East Singhbhum DC appealed to citizens not to let down their guard and follow the COVID protocols for the viral infection had not been absolutely eliminated. He said that those who had not yet availed vaccine doses should do so to protect themselves, their families and localities against COVID infection.
