Saryu inspects Town Hall in Sidhgora, takes tough stand against misuse

Jamshedpur, Jan 15: MLA Saryu Roy today inspected the Town Hall, Son Mandap, Yatri Niwas and Children’s Park area at Sidhgora. Special officers and other personnel of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee ( JNAC) were also present on the occasion. He has asked the special officer to inform that after becoming MLA, for which programs the reservation of Town Hall, Son Mandap and Yatri Niwas has been done in the year 2020 and 2021 and how much income will be earned from this account. He also asked the special officer to give information about the income earned by JNAC from the reservation of these buildings for various programs in the last five years before he became an MLA. He has also sought information from the Special Officer that in the order of booking (reservation) of these buildings, how much fund was deposited in the account of JNAC as Caution Money (Protected Fund) and to how many people this fund was returned.

Roy has also asked to give information about the income earned so far from Town Hall, Son Mandap, Yatri Niwas and Children’s Park built by the Tourism Department and the expenditure incurred in its conservation. He said that the government has informed the assembly about the government taking over all the government properties of this complex and also said that it will free the government constructions and action will be taken against those who have misused it. He has also asked to provide details of what action has been taken in this regard so far. MLA has also asked the Special Officer of JNAC  that for the protection of government properties located here, JNAC  has prepared any manual, then provided its information and if these rules are not ready yet, then the rules will be prepared soon. So that under this system its protection can be done according to the rules and it can be freed from illegal occupation and action should be taken against those who illegally occupied it.
