Jamshedpur: A five-day long meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is going to kick off in the city tomorrow.
RSS chief (Sarsanghchalak) Mohan Bhagwat will be participating in the meeting. He arrived here at Tatanagar railway station in the evening. The proposed programme will be held at Gujarati Sanatan Samaj, Bistupur, organization sources said.
Besides Bhagwat, many other intellectuals will be attending the RSS meeting. They include Dattatreya Hosbole Sanke, Swant Ranjan, Ramdutt Chakradhar and Ravi Shankar.
Sources said the RSS chief will be meeting several people from across the state having a distinct identity in the society. For this purpose, RSS has prepared a list of 50 such people.
Sources further informed that Bhagwat will participate in a flag hoisting programme at Gujarati Sanatan Samaj on 26th January. College students working for the RSS will be participating in this event.
The RSS leader will be addressing the students on the occasion. He will hold a meeting with the pracharaks from across the state on 27th January. On 28th January, he will address a meeting with ‘Prant Sanchalaks’. On both days, the meetings will be held in four sessions, sources said.
