Rotary Jamshedpur West spreads joy with Mango Festival at Palna Ghar

Jamshedpur, July 15: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organized a cheerful Aam Utsav (Mango Festival) at Palna Ghar, a day crèche dedicated to the children of working women, especially daily wage labourers from construction and informal sectors.

The event was part of the club’s ongoing Nutritious Food for Children initiative, which promotes healthy eating habits through the periodic distribution of seasonal fruits and sweets. Led by Rtn. Anupama Sehgal, the festival saw the distribution of freshly prepared aamras among the children, who thoroughly enjoyed the refreshing mango treat.

Laughter and joy filled the crèche as the children relished the fruits, adding brightness to their day. The Rotary Club has been consistently supporting Palna Ghar through infrastructure upkeep and child welfare activities. This event reaffirmed the club’s commitment to community service and the well-being of underprivileged children.
