Rotary Club Jamshedpur West Holds Health and Dental Check-up Camp

Jamshedpur, September 22: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West (RCJW) organized a PPH – Know Your Numbers and Dental Check-up Camp at its Deeksha Centre, Sonari, providing free health and dental services to the community.

Residents benefitted from check-ups for sugar levels, blood pressure, weight, and height, along with dental consultations. Although turnout was slightly lower due to the upcoming festive season, the camp had a meaningful impact on the community.

The event saw the active participation of President Rtn. Ashok Jha, Secretary Rtn. Naman Agarwal, Rtn. Anupama Sehgal, Rtn. Amrit Shah, Rtn. Dhruv Agarwal, Rtn. Achinto Banerjee, and Mr. Kumar Kishlay, who contributed to its success. Special thanks were extended to Rt. Sp. Dr. Salaka Kumari for conducting the dental check-ups.

The club also acknowledged Rtn. Kamal Gupta for donating medicines and Past President Rtn. Rajesh Kumar for sponsoring new medical equipment, including glycometers, weighing machines, height scales, and BP monitoring devices, ensuring accurate assessments in future camps.

This initiative is part of RCJW’s flagship program, ‘Rotary Swasthya Suraksha Kavach,’ aimed at delivering preventive healthcare services to communities, schools, and institutions. Rtn. Dr. Sujata Mitra invited schools and organizations to collaborate with the club for similar camps, ensuring wider community reach and health awareness.
