Jamshedpur, July 29: BJP leader Bharat Singh has demanded relief package for the barbers community. He said that saloons have been shut since March 22 and the barbers have exhausted their last monetary resources. Singh said that barbers were finding it difficult to fend for their families and arranging two square meals per day was a matter of daily concern for them. The BJP leader said that many among them were unable to ensure proper medical treatment because of paucity of funds. Most shops had opened but saloons still remained closed. As such, Bharat Singh demanded from the state government for relief package for the barbers. He warned, If any member of the barbers community dies due to starvation or inability to secure treatment then the responsibility would rest solely on the state government.
