Manish Kumar made West Singhbhum DC as Jharkhand Sees Major IAS Reshuffle
Ranchi/Jamshedpur: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred several IAS officers, leading to changes in Deputy Commissioners (DCs) across multiple districts, including Jamshedpur.
In East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur), the current DC Karn Satyarthi has been transferred, and Rajeev Ranjan has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner. Before this posting, Rajiv Ranjan was serving as Special Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department.
The reshuffle also impacted several other districts. Sandeep Kumar has been appointed as the DC of Latehar, while Ananya Mittal will serve as the DC of Garhwa. Dileshwar Mahto has been posted as DC of Gumla and Megha Bhardwaj as DC of Pakur. Similarly, Lokesh Mishra has been made DC of Godda.
Several officers have been shifted from one district to another. Shashi Prakash Singh, earlier DC of Hazaribagh, is now the DC of Deoghar. Utkarsh Gupta has been moved from Latehar to Koderma, while Hemant Sati has been transferred from Sahibganj to Hazaribagh. Manish Kumar has been appointed as DC of West Singhbhum.
Further, Rituraj will now serve as DC of Ramgarh, replacing his previous posting in Koderma. Ravi Anand has been shifted from Jamtara to Chatra. New appointments also include Deepak Kumar Dubey in Sahibganj, Dilip Pratap Singh in Palamu, Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania in Khunti, Sandeep Kumar Meena in Lohardaga, and Alok Kumar in Jamtara.
The large-scale reshuffle is aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency across the state.
