Jamshedpur: Member of the Railway Advisory Committee (RAC) of Chakradharpur Division, Dr Subhash Chandra Lenka inspected the Tatanagar Station on Tuesday and expressed his satisfaction on maintenance and quality of passenger facilities. He said that he had already carried out inspections at Rourkela and Jharsuguda rail stations.
In the course of his inspection, the RAC member, Dr Lenka checked the waiting lounge, canteen, foot over bridge (FOB), second entry point, the work progress on the park and the restaurant within the railway station premises. Dr Subhash Chandra Lenka inspected the canteen supplies and stated that he would present his inspection report to the DRM (Divisional Railway Manager).
Dr Lenka, while expressing his satisfaction with the passenger facilities provided at Tatanagar Railway Station, stated that systematic inspections of all stations under Chakradharpur Division were being conducted. He said, “Arrangements at Tatanagar Railway Station seem to be in order. In the very near future, passengers will be able to enjoy the ambience of the park that is coming up and the restaurant at the second entry gate. Some minor hitches have been identified at several places and orders have been given for their prompt rectification.”
The next inspection is scheduled for December.
