Press Club of Jamshedpur members to get medical facilities

Jamshedpur: On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day, the Press Club of Jamshedpur held a special program at Quarter No. 5, Sakchi Amanat Road. Club President Sanjeev Sharma (Sanjeev Bhardwaj) led the ceremony, hoisting the national flag and addressing the members after the national anthem.

In his address, Sharma announced a new initiative to provide medical facilities to club members and their dependents. The club has arranged for free OPD and check-up services with fixed discounts at various hospitals and nursing homes in the city. This marks the first time medical benefits are being introduced for Jamshedpur’s journalists.

Sharma also updated the members on other ongoing activities and reported a meeting with Minister Banna Gupta concerning office allocation. The minister assured that the matter would be resolved within two days.

The event was attended by former General Secretary Gulab Singh, General Secretary Vikas Srivastava, Treasurer Manman Pandey, Vice President Sumit Jha, Joint Secretary Ved Prakash Gupta, and senior members including Kulwinder Singh, Nirmal Prasad, and others.
