Jamshedpur: The Jyoti Club of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) celebrated Vrikshabandhan on the eve of Rakshabandhan, highlighting their commitment to nature conservation. The event involved students making handmade rakhis, along with purchasing rakhis crafted by the students of Kerala Samajam Hindi School.
The rakhis were ceremoniously tied to trees within the school premises, symbolizing gratitude towards nature for its protection against harsh weather conditions. This gesture was also a tribute to the Chipko Movement, emphasizing the importance of preserving and valuing the environment.
The initiative was organized under the guidance of Principal Ms. Nandini Shukla and Club Moderators Sneha Kumari and Prabhsimran Kaur.
