Jamshedpur, March 7: A parked car suddenly caught fire on Monday afternoon in Mango. Smoke was seen bellowing from the car.
The Mango police reached the parking lot to investigate the cause of fire. The fire department was also informed of the incident. Locals informed that just after two persons stepped out of the car to go to a nearby address, flames and smoke started emanating from the parked car.
The incident occurred near road number 1 in the vicinity of a drum factory. The fire brigade personnel with the help of local people doused the fire. When asked, the car owner said that he was himself not aware of what could have caused the fire.
