Over 50 trees uprooted, traffic disrupted across Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Aug 20: More than 50 trees were uprooted in different parts of the city in the last 24 hours. Trees fell upon roads, causing disruption of traffic for several hours. A majority of trees fell in Telco. Similar situation was seen on the Straight Mile Road and Jubilee Park.

In Baridih, a tree fell upon a shop near the roundabout. Tata Steel UISL staff removed trees from several localities. JNAC and Mango Municipal Corporation also pressed into service its staff to make the situation normal.
