NMOPS delegation celebrates restoration of old pension scheme

Ranchi, September 3: Chief minister Hemant Soren said that their government believes in fulfilling promises made by work at the ground level and not merely in lip services.

“People of all sections and communities of the state have high expectations from our government. Our government is doing the work of resolving the problems of every class-community by fulfilling promises made to the people. We believe in fulfilling promises by work at the ground level and not merely by lip services. We are determined to take Jharkhand forward in a planned manner. The present government has given the gift of old pension scheme to the state government employees as they are an integral part of the government,” said Hemant Soren while meeting delegation of National Movement for Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS) who congratulated the chief minister for announcing restoration of old pension scheme in the state.

Soren also asked government employees to give their full contribution in the all-round development of the state with dedication and selflessness.

“When you will work with the state government  for public interest, then a time will come when like other institutions, the state government will also give bonus to you in festivals,” said CM after meeting the delegation at his residential office in Ranchi on Saturday.

Chief Minister said that there has been a spurt in government appointments in the state with appointments done in a transparent manner. He also said that the government has solved the problem of ban on promotion of government employees and now the employees are being promoted.

The Chief Minister said that our government has done the work of solving the problems of many sections including para teachers, Anganwadi workers.

Government Employees Union under the banner of National Movement of Pension Scheme, Jharkhand garlanded the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister.
