Ranchi, September 3: Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren asked the Ranchi Smart City authorities not to demolish houses till their rehabilitation plans are made.
The order was issued after the chief minister met residents of Moosa Toli in Ranchi Smart City area in Dhurwa led by Suhani Sanga and David Aind at Chief Minister’s residential office in Ranchi on Saturday
Suhani Sanga and David Aind informed the Chief Minister about the demolition of 25 houses in Musa Toli by the Ranchi administration on Friday. Taking cognizance of the problems of the victim’s family, the Chief Minister assured them of immediate alternative arrangements for those whose houses have been demolished.
. At the same time, the Chief Minister said that the other 25 houses residing in Musa Toli will not be demolished at present until arrangements are made for the rehabilitation of those 25 families.
The Chief Minister said that the state government would not allow injustice to happen to any family. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Ranchi District Committee members were also present on the occasion.
