Jamshedpur, Dec 6: An important orientation session under PHIA Foundation’s “It’s Possible” gender equality campaign was organised on 6 December 2025 at Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur, in collaboration with Agadhbodh Foundation. A total of 102 students from different batches participated actively in the programme.
The “It’s Possible” campaign aims to challenge deep-rooted beliefs, stereotypes and behaviours related to gender and guide them towards positive change. During the workshop, students were sensitised on key topics such as gender and sex, masculinity, the influence of social pressures and how toxic masculinity often leads to violence. The session also highlighted ways to adopt positive masculinity and collectively envision a gender-equal and violence-free society.
The workshop was conducted by Shailendra Pandey, Program Technical Advisor – Gender, PHIA Foundation. Significant support was provided by Shweta Kumari, Program Officer, Agadhbodh Foundation. The event was organised under the guidance of Registrar Nagendra Singh, with the presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Prabhat Kumar Pani and cooperation from Assistant Professor Abhinav and other faculty members.
