Jamshedpur: The district administration held a training session for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Supervisors to launch the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of the electoral roll.
District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan directed officials from Potka, Jugsalai, Jamshedpur East, and Jamshedpur West to execute door-to-door verifications. He stressed that staff must maintain total accuracy and transparency so no eligible citizen is left behind.
Senior officials guided the trainees on processing enumeration forms, adding new voters, correcting records. Officials also handed BLOs two copies of the unmapped voter list, directing them to prominently display one copy at their respective polling stations.
Ranjan ordered all election staff to coordinate closely and finalize this intensive verification drive within the prescribed timeline.
