Nilachal Iron and Power hands 20 barricades to police for preventing road accidents

Gamharia, July 31: Nilachal Iron and Power Limited provided 20 road barricades to the district police to prevent road accidents occurring daily on the district’s roads. During a program organized at the Kandra Police Station premises, GD Bajpai, the General Manager of the company, handed over 20 barricades to the Superintendent of Police, Dr Vimal Kumar. On this occasion, the SP stated that inspections were being carried out at various police stations to assess the situation there. The work and capabilities of the stationed police officers were also being evaluated. “The process of providing better policing to the people of the district will be initiated. Accidents are happening almost on a regular basis on various roads in the district. The support provided by the company to the district police to curb these accidents is commendable.”

 Also present on the occasion were Station Officer Pascal Toppo, Ravi Singh from the HR Department of the company, Vikas Chaudhary from CSR Department, Vijay Sahu, Union President Tapan Mandal, Union Vice-President Raja Tudu, SI Prakash Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Santosh Urang, ASI Girjesh Kumar, Kishor Munda and others from Kandra Police Station.
