Farewell to retiring DAV School Gua Principal Dr Manoj Kumar

Gua, July 31: An emotional farewell was given to DAV Public School Gua Principal, Dr Manoj Kumar who retired after putting in sincere and dedicated service. The guests of honour at the event were Dr Manoj Kumar’s wife Suman Pandey and their sons, M Tech Engineer Kanishk Pandey and B Tech Engineer Kartik Pandey who too were felicitated at the farewell function organized by the school management. Dr Manoj Kumar was honored with a shawl, a commemorative letter and a memento as a token of appreciation for his contributions to the school’s development.

The school children showcased a vibrant dance performance. Appreciation was showered on the retiring Principal. Anant Kumar Upadhyay, one of the senior teachers, presented a farewell song during the program. Other school teachers, including P K Acharya, Bhaskar Chandra Das, Arvind Kumar Sahu and Shravan Kumar Pandey praised Dr Manoj Kumar’s guidance and support in the school’s progress, acknowledging him as an education enthusiast.

In his address, Dr Manoj Kumar emphasized the importance of providing quality education to children and instilling strong moral values in their lives. He expressed his belief that education played a pivotal role in shaping a bright future for individuals, earning them respect and recognition in society.

Dr Manoj Kumar’s academic journey and achievements were highlighted during the program. He holds a PhD and Senior Research Fellow (Scholar) title, and his contribution as Principal of DAV Gua led to significant allround development in the school. The retiring Principal’s post-retirement tenure received commendation from various authorities, including DAV Institute New Delhi Director JP Sur, Regional Officer Jamshedpur OP Mishra, SAIL Management, and the citizens of Gua.
